This position consists of preparing and teaching daily classroom lessons and activities for a self-contained classroom at the 2nd grade level. Must hold or be eligible for a Oregon teaching license with appropriate endorsement to teach a 2nd grade self-contained class. This position is at Mark Twain Elementary School, an in-town setting with approximately 320 students KG-2.

Special consideration will be given to teachers with successful experience in a 2nd grade classroom, training in providing students with sensory interventions within the classroom, training in a Positive Behavior Intervention & Support (PBIS) model for elementary students, and experience providing academic interventions and extensions for students who are performing below grade level and above grade level respectively.

 This position starts August 25, 2017.
