This is a temporary position to fill in for the regular teacher who will be on a leave of absence and will start on 8/27/18 and run through 12/10/18. Must be able to perform all duties of a certified elementary PE teacher in a KG thru 2nd grade setting, including, but not limited to lesson planning, delivery of instruction, classroom management, assessment, and communication with familes.

Must hold or be eligible for a Oregon teaching license with appropriate endorsement to teach PE in a KG-2nd grade elementary school. This position is at Mark Twain Elementary School, an in-town setting with approximately 345 students  in grades KG-2.

Special consideration will be given to teachers with successful experience in elementary physical education setting and training in a Positive Behavior Intervention & Support (PBIS) model for elementary students.

This position starts 8/27/18.
