Must be able to perform all duties of a certified teacher in a Title 1A intervention setting, including, but not limited to, lesson planning, delivery of instruction, small group management, assessment, use of data, supervision of educational assistants and communication with families.

Must hold or be eligible for a Oregon teaching license with appropriate endorsement to deliver instruction to students in KG thru 2nd grade. This position is at Mark Twain Elementary School, an in-town setting with approximately 345 students in grades KG-2.

Special consideration will be given to applicants with successful experience in a KG-2 setting, training/experience in targeted interventions programs, Renaissance Learning, and Positive Behavior Intervention & Support (PBIS) model for elementary students. Special consideration will also be given to applicants with a Reading Endorsement and applicants who are bilingual in Spanish.
