Silver Falls School District is looking for an individual curious and excited about supporting students with special needs in our Structured Learning program at Butte Creek Elementary!
This position is full-time 7:45 - 3:15 time (7 hours per day) and does require flexibility in working with different students throughout the day.
The Instructional Assistant II improves student achievement by providing individual and small group academic or program support, primarily in special education settings, helping students to generalize skills in general education settings. In addition to the job duties of an IA I, this position routinely collaborates with teachers and specialists on specially designed curriculum, utilizing an understanding of individual students, their needs, interests, and abilities. Through one on one and small group interactions with students and program support, the Instructional Assistant II aids in ensuring an equitable and safe learning environment for all.
Pay ranges from $17.84 to $23.02 per hour (Column I of the Classified Wage Schedule for 2024-25).
